Forget About It
When I was Young, I felt so Old
My Country I came home to seemed so cold
Broken and Torn, like a beat up toy
I had to act like a man, When I was only a boy
Awake or asleep, I was scared as can be
Cause I could remember, what no one should see
Plastic, Metal and Wood are worn by me
So I could readjust and try to be free
Education and Employment is the thing to do
Cause drinking and drugging are taboo
I'll work hard and try to persevere
Day by day turns into Year by Year
Forget the past, that's what I'm told
When I was too young, I felt so old
