I watched with anticipation,
as each man arrived, filled with apprehension.

I watched and yes, I waited,
For the recognition that I anticipated.

They came to see if this was real,
They stayed to learn, to share, to feel.

And when they leave this time they know,
Friendships forged have a chance to grow.
