"We were all taking an accelerated course in Vietnamese before going to Vietnam.
This picture was taken about 2-3 weeks before we shipped out. I'm the one
in uniform on the shoulders of Jennings ( I've forgotten his first name)
, he was a forward observer for artillery with 3/4. Christy Villano
is holding Steve McDonald on his shoulders. Steve was with the 9th marines.
Everyone survived the war. Ken Muchemore was also in the same class.
Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of him."
