I served with India Co. 3/7 as social director and event coordinator for the NVA/USMC Friendship Society. I know it wasnt as bad as being a grunt but organizing all those tea parties and finding suitable entertainment for our numerous social engagements was not as easy I one might imagine.

I served with Kilo from about 30 August, 1969 to 30 August, 1970. I was Second Platoon Commander from August 1969 to Jnauary or February '70. From February to April I served as Company CO, then went to the "rear" as XO for about two months, and finished my tour from late May to August '70 as Company CO. I'd like to hear from folks who were with Kilo during that time frame. I often think of how much they did under such difficult circumstances. I can't forget their loyalty and willingness to get the job done, no matter what.
